Lightly toast the multi-grain bread slices to your desired crispness. The original sandwich has a light toast, so avoid burning.
While the bread is toasting, wash and gently dry the lettuce leaves and slice the tomato thinly.
Once the bread is toasted, spread mayonnaise evenly on the inside of both slices.
On one slice of bread, layer the sliced deli turkey breast. Arrange it neatly to cover the bread.
Place the Swiss cheese slices on top of the turkey.
